1 Arrival in Guwahati � Transfer to Shillong (Approx. 100 km / 3 hrs)

Begin your tour to Assam and Meghalaya with a warm welcome at Guwahati Airport or Railway Station. Enjoy a pleasant drive to Shillong, known as the �Scotland of the East.� En route, take a refreshing break at the scenic Umiam Lake, surrounded by forested hills and calm waters. On arrival in Shillong, check into your hotel and unwind. Overnight stay in Shillong.

2 Excursion to Cherrapunjee (Approx. 60 km / 3 hrs one way)

After breakfast, head for a day trip to Cherrapunjee, renowned as one of the wettest places on Earth. Visit the jaw-dropping Nohkalikai Falls, and explore the mystical Mawsmai Caves with their fascinating limestone formations. On your return to Shillong, stop by the enchanting Elephant Falls. Overnight stay in Shillong.

3 Shillong Local � Drive to Guwahati (Approx. 100 km / 3 hrs)

Begin your morning with a visit to the serene Ward�s Lake and the informative Don Bosco Museum (closed on Sundays), offering insights into Northeast India�s diverse cultures. Later, drive back to Guwahati, the gateway to Assam. In the evening, you can choose an optional sunset cruise on the Brahmaputra River (payable directly). Overnight stay in Guwahati.

4 Guwahati Sightseeing Tour

Explore the spiritual and cultural landmarks of Guwahati. Start with a visit to the sacred Kamakhya Temple, followed by Tirupati Balaji Temple, Navagraha Temple, and Sukreswar Temple�one of the oldest Shiva temples in the region. Continue to the Assam State Museum (closed on Mondays), State Zoo cum Botanical Garden, and the Regional Science Centre. Overnight stay in Guwahati.
