1 Arrival at Guwahati � Transfer to Kaziranga (220 km / approx. 5 hrs)

Begin your 6 nights 7 day trip to North East India with a warm welcome at Guwahati Airport or Railway Station. From here, embark on a scenic drive to Kaziranga National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for the one-horned rhinoceros. En route, stop at the Maha Mrityunjay Temple in Nagaon for a spiritual break. On arrival, check in to your hotel and spend the evening at leisure. Overnight stay in Kaziranga.

2 Kaziranga National Park � Elephant & Jeep Safari

Today is dedicated to wildlife exploration. Start early with an elephant safari to discover the park�s unique biodiversity, including rhinos, swamp deer, wild buffaloes, and more. After breakfast, relax before heading out again for a thrilling jeep safari in the afternoon. Wrap up your wildlife day with a visit to the Kaziranga Orchid Park, showcasing Assam's floral heritage. Overnight stay in Kaziranga. Note: All safaris are operated and regulated by the Forest Department and are subject to availability.

3 Kaziranga to Shillong � Gateway to Meghalaya (295 km / approx. 7 hrs)

After breakfast, check out and proceed to Shillong, the capital of Meghalaya, famously called the �Scotland of the East.� En route, take a break at the tranquil Umiam Lake, perfect for photography and relaxation. On reaching Shillong, check in to your hotel. Overnight stay in Shillong.

4 Day Trip to Cherrapunji � Land of Rain & Waterfalls (60 km / approx. 3 hrs one way)

Today�s highlight is a breathtaking day trip to Cherrapunji (Sohra), known as one of the wettest places on Earth. Visit the majestic Nohkalikai Falls, explore the limestone Mawsmai Caves, and take in the lush landscapes. On your return, stop by Elephanta Falls near Shillong. Overnight stay in Shillong.

5 Excursion to Dawki & Mawlynnong � Jewel of Meghalaya (120 km / approx. 4-5 hrs one way)

Set off early for Dawki, located near the India-Bangladesh border. Enjoy the surreal views of the crystal-clear Umngot River, where boats appear to float mid-air. Then, head to Mawlynnong, acclaimed as �Asia�s Cleanest Village.� Walk across the iconic Living Root Bridge and see the natural wonder of a balancing rock. Overnight stay in Shillong.

6 Shillong Sightseeing � Transfer to Guwahati (100 km / approx. 3 hrs)

After breakfast, explore Shillong�s cultural side with a visit to the Don Bosco Museum (closed Sundays) and the peaceful Ward�s Lake. Later, drive to Guwahati, the largest city in Assam. Upon arrival, check into your hotel. In the evening, you may opt for a sunset cruise on the Brahmaputra River (available at an extra cost). Overnight stay in Guwahati.

7 Kamakhya Temple Visit � Departure from Guwahati

On the final day of your Tour to Assam and Meghalaya, visit the sacred Kamakhya Temple, a revered Shakti Peeth in Guwahati. (Temple timings: 8:00 AM � 1:00 PM & 3:00 PM till sunset. If your flight/train is early, this visit can be scheduled for the previous day.) After the temple visit, we�ll drop you at the airport or railway station for your onward journey.
