Welcome to Assam! Upon arrival at Guwahati Airport or Railway Station, our representative will greet you and escort you to Kaziranga National Park, the iconic home of the majestic one- horned rhinoceros. Enjoy a scenic drive through the lush green landscapes of Assam, passing by charming villages and tea gardens. Upon reaching Kaziranga, check in at your jungle lodge/resort and take the evening to relax and soak in the serene atmosphere. Overnight stay in Kaziranga.

2 Wildlife Safari & Exploration in Kaziranga National Park

Kaziranga

Rise early for an exciting elephant safari through the misty grasslands of Kaziranga. This up-close wildlife experience increases your chances of spotting rhinos, elephants, swamp deer, hog deer, wild buffalo, and, if you're lucky, the elusive Royal Bengal Tiger. The park is also home to a variety of migratory birds, including pelicans, storks, and darters.

Return to the resort for a hearty breakfast and some leisure time. In the afternoon, embark on a thrilling jeep safari through one of the park’s designated zones, offering another opportunity to witness Kaziranga’s diverse ecosystem. Later, visit the Kaziranga Orchid Park, where you can admire a rich collection of exotic orchids native to Northeast India.

This Kaziranga wildlife safari is an unmissable experience for nature and wildlife lovers.

After breakfast, bid farewell to Kaziranga and embark on a road trip back to Guwahati, the gateway to Northeast India. In the evening, opt for an optional sunset cruise on the Brahmaputra River (additional cost), where you can witness a mesmerizing view of the golden hues reflecting on the mighty river. Start your day with a visit to the Kamakhya Temple, a revered Hindu pilgrimage site located on Nilachal Hill. The temple is open from 8:00 AM � 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM until sunset, so your visit will depend on your departure schedule. Afterward, you will be transferred to Guwahati Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey, taking back unforgettable memories of your Kaziranga adventure with Gallivant Journeys. Note: If your flight or train departs early, the temple visit may be arranged on the previous day.
